BYUI ROOM MATES

About a month before we move up here, we are given the names of the girls we will be rooming with, so of course I had to look them up. They all looked like the sweetest girls, so I was excited to meet them all. All 5 of them proved themselves to all be amazing. I couldn't ask for better room mates! I want to share with my readers how amazing my girls are and why I love them so much, so here in this post I'm going to talk about some amazing women, so be prepared to be amazed.
From L to R: Laura May, Tori, Chloe, Leah, Jessica W, Jessica P (aka JP)
We had such a fun, good semester and I was able to get to know each betty slowly, but gradually and love each one of them so much! Living and being around girls was a new change for me as I had been used to hanging out with mostly guys in high school and maybe one other girl. I don't usually open myself up to girls, but I was able to with these girls as they became some of my greatest friends. We have had so many memories together as we have gone to parties together, have had funny experiences in the apartment with the water bottle and my bat, just supporting each other in school activities, and just living together.

I am writing the post now because I am going to miss these girls as they are leaving next semester to go back home. These girls have influenced my life so much and I don't know what I am going to do without them. Every Thursday night, Tori (T-Dog) and Leah (Douby) and I have a tradition that we started our first semester of making green bean casserole together and catching up on our favorite T.V. shows, Modern Family, New Girl, and then watching reruns of That 70's Show. These past two semesters we were able to finish all seasons of That 70's show. When we did, I felt sick because I was going to miss watching that classic show with them. I am going to miss our 3 Musketeer fun that we always had. Us three have this song, Redneck Woman, by Gretchen Willson that we have to blast and sing our loudest to in the car every time we go for a drive. I am going the miss these two so much and our good times we always have together.

Jessica and I had a very funny, different relationship. It's really cool because I feel that we connected together with music and our weird sense of humor. We are alike in more ways than some might think when they see us. She has the greatest laugh ever that I will always think of when I hear her name. Whenever someone says something that is weird or wrong and we both know it, we look at each other in this way that makes us both laugh and just makes us enjoy that moment. She's going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to Antofagasta, Chile and I am so proud of her. She has such a strong spirit that I just love about her and I look up to her so much. I am going to miss her so much, but I'll see her in like 2 years!

Leah, who I call Douby is an amazing young woman who I admire. She is just so amazing and gorgeous. We have gotten to open up to each other and get to understand each other. We have our differences, but we definitely have more similarities. Douby and I have had some real good laughs and she is just so sweet. You are someone who has also understood me and who I am. I appreciate all she has done for me and I'm going to miss her so much as well!

Chloe is a woman who I have seen to be very nurturing, loving, and understanding. These qualities are what I love about her. She is a very mature woman who I feel has strengthened me. I respect her so much as we have had many heart-to-heart talks and I have sought out to understand her. I'm going to miss her! I love love her so much!

JP moved out last semester and is home right now, but she was my room, room mate. She and I didn't talk as much as I had wanted to, but what I did know about her, I loved. She had a long distant boyfriend, who she is now engaged to, that she would always be talking to and she taught me something. As I listened to the way that he talked to her and she talked to him, my heart just melted. They were so sweet to each other and I saw that they really did love each other. I wish my greatest congratulations. I love you both!

Julianna, who I call J is my room mate this semester and she is just so sweet and outgoing. When I first met her, she runs out of our room and yell's, "Is this my room mate? I'm Julianna!" When she came out like that, I knew instantly that we were going to get along and have so much fun. She has proven my expectations to be true. She is actually staying with me this semester and it's going to be awesome!

Last of all is Tori, who I call T-Dog and she and I have the greatest memories together that I will never forget of just having a conversation with our facial expressions, singing to the loudest music in the car, our jokes that we make, our funny snapchats/text conversations, watching Lost, and on a serious note our deep conversations on life and just lifting each other up. She understands me and who I am and what I have gone through in my life. She is one of those people who I can't be mad around because she always just knows how to make me laugh. It's crazy, because we are like the same person! She's someone who I can truly say is one of my best friend. She is also going on a mission, so when she leaves I am not going to see her for 2 years! This makes me so sad, but so happy for her. I am so proud of all she is and who she will become. I love her so much and I am going to miss her like no other.

Ladies, we only have about 3 more weeks together, so I say...LETS MAKE THE BEST OF IT! XOXO
